Magnezone is a Steel/Electric dual-type Pokmon that was introduced to the series in Generation IV. It evolves from Magneton, another Steel/Electric type Pokmon, when leveled up in a special magnetic field. In the Generation III games, FireRed and LeafGreen, Magnezone cannot be obtained legitimately. However, there is a way to obtain it through a glitch.
To obtain Magnezone using this glitch, the player will need to first catch a Magnemite. Then, they will need to take it to the Pokmon Center in Cerulean City and talk to the scientist there. The scientist will tell the player that the Magnemite is not strong enough to evolve yet. However, if the player then takes the Magnemite to the Power Plant in Vermilion City, it will evolve into Magneton.
